Fuck the last chance kid (The last chance, fuck Kappa or Fuck the Kappa, last chance) Point Prometheus skip setup.

The thought process behind of this started by realizing that there are two ways to trigger the Fontaine's dialogue and animation:

1) Visual: you look to an area close to him and he starts the animation
2) Area: you walk through a invisible line and he starts the animation

The first one gets you stuck for a short time and after that you have control of your character, while the second, gets you stuck for longer before giving you control.

To reach the door you want to move as soon as possible and be as close as possible to it. The visual trigger needs to happen but before you pass the invisible line (Area trigger). Reaching the positioning shown the visual trigger happens when you reach the top of the stairs (or even before that). Jumping before the visual trigger makes you both activate it first and jump across the area trigger.

I know it's a boring and complicated technical explanation but I tried my best :p
