This match didn't go nearly as planned, and is just a combination of tons of things. Me not being used to this metagame got me off to a terrible start, that leadoff matchup is actually much more favorable than I thought and I should have stayed in.

A combination of some crits help to remove my chances as well, losing a poke that potentially could have saved the day. Though on the contrary, I did get a needed crit myself---but too little too late.

One thing you can't really get from a video is how people need to predict. Good players will obviously think a lot more in advance and prediction wise, so you have to play them differently than average players. There are several moves where its not that I didn't know the right move to make, but simply that I expected a "lesser" opponent's type of decision making and thus ended up with the wrong move, he was simply better than I took him for and theres not a darn thing to be done in that case.

And finally, he just had the guys to match up against me. Despite me having chances to win and moves to make, at the same time I really should have had no place in this match and it should have been pretty lopsided for him IMO.

Thats what I get for playing defensive with an offensive team. I'm used to saving sweepers for later and so I wait to set them off, when instead I should just go with it--and suddenly it BECOMES later as stuff dies, leaving me with other sweepers to....you know....sweep.

Despite all that, it does come down very close, he just happens to have the last one guy to survive and finish me off.....unless I get a crit. I told you I got a lucky one didn't I?
