When you mess around with Mike Tyson, you straight lose.

Just a vid of me failing at one of the most difficult video game accomplishments in all of life. Beating Mike Tyson. You could even say that knocking him down once is a major achievement. Surviving the first round is a huge achievement.

Hell, if you can survive the first 1:30 of OHKO punches, good %^Uing job. I've done it once.

Punch out is an absolutely amazing game that is so much more in depth than it appears. Everyone plays it differently, there are so many little tricks and tidbits and things to look for and do. It isn't simply pattern recognition or memorization like most NES games, and few people see this. Just watch various people do Speed Runs or LP's of this game, you'll see different tactics and variations of how things all go down and its absolutely insane.

Punch-Out! is therefore as much a puzzle game as it is an action game. But at the end of the day, its an NES game. And therefore, hard, fun, timeless. (1987)

Recently re-released on the Wii as a synthesis of the NES and SNES versions, it stayed mostly true to its form. A very worthwhile pickup, and I don't exactly recommend anything the Wii has to offer---its a terrible system in general aside from a small handful of gems.
