Pokemon Blue - Any% No Save Corruption in 49:09
5"WR" at the time of recording. This isn't a real category, so I guess it doesn't really count, but it feels good to have a sub 50 run. Previous record was 49:10 by MexiricanBassMonkey. I wish I beat the run by more than a second, but I'll take it.
Now onto the run. Beginning was alright. Shorts guy took a weird turn that ended up working out. Charmander's Special was good so the rest of Route 3 was fine. Mt. Moon was nearly perfect up until Gengar. Got Gengar super early. Mt. Moon was atrocious after Gengar (as you can see by that +55 split). Abra was lolworthy. This was my first full run not doing "race strats" and saving before Gengar and Abra, and I'm glad it went this well. Would have been about a minute slower if I did those strats with the same luck.
I'm done with this category for now. Sometime I'll come back to it. I think sub 48 is possible on a god run, but I'd settle for a low 48:xx. Now I have to go back to the Glitchless grind :3
