The fatigue is definitely setting in now, since I know I can't turn off the game until I defeat the end-game due to the battery running out. I even mistakenly deposit the Card Key for Silph in order to manage my items. Luckily, Escape Ropes make things slightly quicker. We also defeat Articuno at Seafoam Islands, which has too high of an encounter rate IMO - I kinda pride myself in not running away from the random battles, so that was slight suffering.
After getting Earthquake from Silph, we finally have our moveset! Honestly, Earthquake is... somewhat useful, but I feel Slash is still good enough for Water-types, and Charizard can still muscle past the Rock-types with Flamethrower due to their bad Special stats.
We obtain two more badges, and next time, we'll finally beat the game!
