In 2009, shortly before the release of HGSS, I wanted to play through Pokémon Gold one last time. Since the internal battery that ran the save was flat, I had to play the entire game without saving, more or less in one sitting. And so I did. It took me 33 hours 31 minutes, including sleep, to reach Red. That was the last time I played Gold.

Now, with the re-release of GS on 3DS, I want to give it another go.
