I know the video being 5 minutes long for a gym leader sounds a little outrageous, but it's because I wanted to showcase a hilarious exploit I realized was possible. Morty's ace Gengar has the following moves: Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Mean Look, and Sucker Punch. Anyone notice the problem with this moveset? It's the fact there aren't any definitive answers for normal types. If you're running, like say, a Fearow (normal/flying type), if Gengar puts it to sleep with Hypnosis, it can't do ANYTHING to it until it wakes up due to how the only damaging move it has that can hit normal types, Sucker Punch, works. Sucker Punch only works if your pokemon is using an attacking move that turn, so it straight up fails if its target can't attack or isn't using a damaging move. It makes the battle drag on, true, but it's hilarious how you can make this normally strong pokemon powerless.
