Nuzlocke Rules

Rule #1: All Pokémon must be nicknamed.
Rule #2: Only the first Pokémon encountered in any given area may be captured.
Rule #3: If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released.

Clause #1: The battle style must be on "set."
Clause #2: None of the Pokémon in my party can surpass the level limit, as determined by the highest level Pokémon on the next gym leader's team.
Clause #3: Duplicate Pokémon species do not count as first encounters (up to a maximum of 5 encounters).
Clause #4: No healing items may be used during battle.
Clause #5: No duplicate typings are allowed among party Pokémon.
