Rules:

1. If I want to have a Pokemon in my Party, I will have to Shiny Hunt for it. Since this is a new game and I will not have the Shiny Charm, every Pokemon will be hunted at FULL ODDS of 1 in 4096.

2. I am allowed to use my Starter Pikachu until the first Shiny Pokemon is found and caught. Then the Pikachu must be released.

3. I am allowed to catch a non-shiny to bypass any Gym access requirements, but cannot use it in battle and must discard it afterward.

4. No outside interference or trades for Shiny Pokemon. All must be wild caught within the playthrough.
