Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu (and Let's Go Eevee!) are remakes of the original 1998 Game Boy RPG Pokemon Yellow, developed by Game Freak and released in 2018. The gameplay for this let's play is from the Nintendo Switch. I had never played any Pokemon game before, and my community requested this one to be my first! You play as a new Pokemon trainer, gaining Pikachu as your starting Pokemon, and learning to catch new Pokemon and battle other trainers. You explore the Kanto region, collecting badges by battling gym leaders, and trying to thwart Team Rocket's evil plans. This game utilizes the Nintendo Switch joy-con motion controls to throw Poke Balls and interact with Pikachu/Eevee. If you are familiar with Pokemon you know what to expect from this remake of the original, and it was fun to finally try one of these games for myself!
