Rules for this nuzlocke:
- All pokemon must be nicknamed. This creates a closer bond between the trainer and the pokemon.
- Only the first pokemon to appear on each route can be captured. If it faints, you cannot catch anything else on that route.
- If the pokemon is in the evolution family of something you already have (for example, you have a beedrill and you run into a weedle...) you can apply dupes clauses up to 3 times. If you run into the same pokemon 3 times on that route, you may not catch another pokemon there.
- If a pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or placed in a death box.
- If all pokemon in the party faint and the trainer blacks out, the nuzlocke is over. You lost.
- You may have additional pokemon around as HM Slaves since they are required to proceed with the story, but they may not be used in battles.
