As we start our journey in the Hoenn region, we are introduced to Professor Birch, the professor of the Hoenn region who will guide us through our journey of getting our first Pokémon. After we got out of our moving truck from Johto to Hoenn, we are introduced to our next door neighbor--and rival, May. May is just like Brendon, and she wishes to catch every single Pokémon she would want to discover. After May leaves her house, we go and search for Professor Birch. By our encounter, he is being chased by a Poochyana, and we have to choose a starter Pokémon to stop the Poochyana. The Pokémon we chose is Treecko, and we named it Kermit once we are done with the battle; because he has quite of a similar color pattern with his designed. The journey of the Hoenn region will continue.
