Well, isn't that something. You can either fight Red or Blue here, or just save beforehand and fight both.

Blue is probably the harder of the two, and still not really much of a threat. It's hard to be that much of a threat with only Kanto mons, especially a team as random as this.

I should emphasize the whole postgame Poni Island trek has been nothing but teams of 6 Pokémon at level 100 with custom movesets, IVs, EVs and Natures. So the only difference between this fight and those is that this one has fancier music, and a less synergistic team.

So yeah. His trio of Exeggutor/Arcanine/Gyarados isn't much of a threat. There's Machamp, who I swear I've already beaten a dozen times since like every Black Belt has one. There's Tyranitar, as a nod to the FR/LG Champ rematch. It's Dark, I'm Fairy. There's a Mega Pidgeot. Kahili did it better.
