This is me having my Silver Factory Print battle against Factory Head Thorton, the Frontier Brain of the Battle Factory, in my Pokémon Platinum walkthrough in March 2015.

Battle Factory's special trick is that you aren't allowed to use your own Pokémon here. Instead, you battle using a set of three rental Pokémon. After each successful battle, you have the option to swap one of your Pokémon with one of those used by your previous opponent. Before each battle, you will be provided clues of your opponent's team, although the clues get more and more vague the further you get.

One series consists of seven battles. You must win three series, 21 battles in total, to battle Thorton for the first time.

Since Thorton uses rental Pokémon, just like you, his team is completely unpredictable. Just try to assemble a team that has a lot of variety and power, and go for it!

Defeating Thorton for the first time will earn you the Silver Factory Print and 20 Battle Points.
