Information - Gym Challenge is the name given to the seventh main expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Challenge from the Darkness, the sixth expansion in the Pokémon Card Game. It is based on Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green, featuring Generation I Pokémon and the Kanto region's Gym Leaders. The English expansion was released on October 16, 2000, while the Japanese expansion was released on June 25, 1999. Gym Challenge combines its Japanese equivalent with the Leaders' Stadium expansion.
