This track uses a slightly modified version of the instrument set I used for my Elite Four and Regi Theme remixes. It didn't take too long to make, only about three hours total, because I've fought Wallace in my recent Emerald playthrough so many times that I've got the entire theme memorized. Yep, this is completely from memory. XD
I also completely redid the percussion, experimenting with the triangle wave as a percussive instrument and seeing if I could put it past its reputation as a barely audible bass channel. I feel like I went a little overboard with the percussion here, but in a good way. It makes the track sound much more energetic and lively (not that it wasn't to begin with), and gives it a bit more personality. In fact, I think I'll use the triangle channel as a strictly percussive channel from now on.
