Pokémon Ruby Live - Shiny Only Challenge! (RNG Manipulation) #45
5Welcome to this streaming format, where I play through Pokémon Ruby while only being allowed to use Shiny Pokémon. While I am progressing in the game normally, I will also be doing RNG manipulation to get more shinies. Again, This time, I will try my luck at the trainer tower! Despite the title, in this stream, we might actually not do any RNG manipulation at all... How will my streak get ruined this time? Last time my streak got ruined by a Seaking with Horn Drill...
Due to this being an RNG Manipulation hunt, it's not the usual process of soft resetting until I get lucky. I deduced my trainer ID and secret ID mathematically by using the guide found on smogon's website. This means that should I input these values into a RNG program like Pokéfinder, I am able to guess with absolute precision what kind of Pokémon will be generated on each frame.
No Action Replay or any other cheating software is used. The only software used are the complementary help tools (Eontimer, and Pokéfinder).
The streaming software used is OBS. I record footage using a Dazzle.
