Nuzlocke Rules:
Rule #1
You can only capture the first Pokémon you encounter in each new area you explore.
• Rule #2
If one of your Pokémon faints, you must release or box it. It is dead.
• Rule #3 (not technically an official rule, but widely encouraged)
You must nickname everything.
• Rule #4
Using the "Dupes Clause", which allows you to ignore any Pokémon you've already caught if it's your first encounter for an area, giving you a chance (or sometimes denying you a chance, depending on your interpretation) to catch another Pokémon in the area.
These are the basic nuzlocke rules I'm following.
