Pokemon is a competitive game. It's not at all the child's play that it appears to be. There are countless ways to customize your team, and while originality and innovation is admirable, it's not something you'll often see in online competitive battling. This is because Pokemon have been labeled and divided into different tiers according to most used, most useful, strongest, weakest, and virtually unusable. While high base stats are important, it's a Pokemon's ability that matters in most cases. While this can get annoying, depending on what you typically square off against, it does grant you an opportunity to heighten your prediction skills and get better, which is exactly what I intend to do with my low tier, functionally inferior teams. Who doesn't love a challenge? In this video, Umbreon and Espeon reveal their timeless secrets to success in today's meta long after their debut in GSC.
