Pokemon Soul Silver: Insanity Nuzlocke Rules
-------------------------------------------------------------

1. If a Pokemon of mine faints for any reason, it is considered dead and can never be used again. They will be placed in a specific PC Box and never be withdrawn again.

2. Only the first encounter of each route or area is able to be captured. However, it must be one of three types: Grass, Rock, or Flying. If it is not one of these types, or if it is part of an evolution line that has already been captured, the encounter does not count and a new one must be found if possible. If a Pokemon is not one of these three types, but gains it upon evolution, it also may be captured (example: I can catch Dratini, as it will become Dragonite, a Flying type). However, if a Pokemon is no longer one of these three types upon evolution, then it is not allowed to evolve (example: I can catch Onix, but it can’t evolve into Steelix, as it would no longer be Rock).

3. Battle Style must be on “Set”, which disallows me from switching automatically upon defeating an opponent’s Pokemon.

4. Pokemon Centers and and other place that fully heals my Pokemon will have a limited amount of uses. For every new one that I find, I will gain one HALF of a “Healing Point.” If I want to heal at one of these places, I must use one Healing Point. In other words, I can only heal once for every two Pokemon Centers or equivalents that I find. If there is a point in the game where a character automatically heals me per story purposes beyond my control, I will lose one half of a point. This is because it is considered finding a new spot to heal, gaining one half, but then using one full point. It is possible to go negative from a situation like this, but I must have a positive of at least one if I want to use one myself.

5. Items of any kind can not be used from the Bag during battle. The only exceptions are held items, as well as Pokeballs if it is a valid encounter.

6. My mom must take a cut of my prize money, and I am not allowed to withdraw some from her. I can use any item she buys for me, though.

7. Pokemon can not be intentionally leveled past the highest leveled Pokemon of the next Gym Leader. If anyone does, it will be looked at on a case-by-case basis. If it is determined that it was beyond my control, an exception will be made. If it was my own fault, then the Pokemon in question can not participate in the Gym Battle.

8. Any move that does nothing but restore HP is not allowed. Examples are Recover and Morning Sun. Examples that are okay to use are Leech Seed and Mega Drain, as these have an effect other than solely restoring HP.

9. Pokemon are not allowed to be deposited into the PC unless they have full HP and PP.

10. The Day Care may not be used under any circumstance.
