Rules:
1. Both games are a nuzlocke. If the speedrunner, in this case Snappy, loses the nuzlocke, then the speedrun ends. However, if the hunter loses, they just reset their rom since they have infinite lives.
2. If either player encounters a pokemon in their game that the opponent has and it dies at any point while on the battlefield, the opposing player must discard this pokemon. This allows the speedrunner to do something against the hunter, and this is what allows the hunter to 'kill' the speedrunner.
3. Both games are randomized throughout encounters to make it so that the encounters aren't going to be the same throughout both games. However, trainers are unrandomized so the hunter has some guranteed chance of finding certain pokemon.
4. The speedrun ends when the speedrunner either 'dies'(loses all their pokemon from the opposing player or loses the nuzlocke), or when the speedrunner beats the champion.
5. Infinite numbers of hunters can be added over time, and it keeps going until there's too many different encounter pools for the speedrunner to have a chance at victory.
