2I was never one for collecting Pokemon cards, but when Pokémon Yellow came out on the Gameboy, man I fell in love with RPGs. I never owned Zelda so didn’t have the pleasure of seeing what an RPG was like but when my mum bought me Pokemon Yellow I was 100% hooked. Pokemon Yellow was massive, a game that could take years to complete to get every shiny, every 100 IV Pokemon and to find every place to hunt and to find every gym. Fast forward to 2020 when I bought Pokemon Sword, and once again I fell in love. What an incredibly excellent game with fun oozing out of it and RPG elements that rival some of the best RPG games, this game has cemented my love for Pokemon. This video is Circhester & Spikemuth, including both gym leader battles.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are 2019 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. They are the first installments in the eighth generation of the Pokémon video game series and the second in the series, following Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, released on a home game console. Originally teased at E3 2017 and announced in February 2019, Pokémon Sword and Shield were released in November 2019. The games received two downloadable content expansion packs through an expansion pass with The Isle of Armor, released in June 2020 and The Crown Tundra, released in October 2020. A physical bundle including both expansion packs with the base games was released in November 2020.
