Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon are third-person turn-based RPG video games developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokemon Company for the Nintendo 3DS. This is the seventh generation of Pokemon games. Like Pokemon Sun and Moon, Ultra Sun and Moon take place in the Alola region where players can see new pokemon along with alolan forms of previous pokemon. The gameplay is mostly unchanged from the previous two games, though there are variations in the storyline. The player takes control of a customizable character who has just moved into the Alola Region, a region based off of Hawaii. Early on, the player is given a choice between three starters: Rowlet (the grass starter), Popplio (the water starter), and Litten (the fire starter). The player can catch a multitude of other Pokémon during wild encounters and battle against trainers to level them up so that they grow stronger, and, in some cases, evolve.
