I have made it to Medali, which is a small town, but the most important place in Medali is the Treasure Eatery, a restaurant where you can change your Pokémon's Tera Type. There is the Gym in Medali, which is led by Larry, a Normal-type user, and we have to find some hints if we want to challenge him.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

At the start of the video, I catch a Dedenne, and I used Primeape's Rage Fist 20 times so it is ready to evolve when it next levels up.
Medali is where the Normal-type Gym is at, and for interesting places, there is a guy who gives you Gimmighoul Coins, you can get an Amulet Coin for beating 5 Trainers in West Province Area Three, and in the middle of town is a Leftovers.
When you take on the Gym challenge, you have to battle three Trainers, who provide hints, one of them is the gated stairs, one of them is the ice cream stand, and another has you listen to the blue Squawkabilly. Then talk to the office worker in Treasure Eatery, and that is where you can change your Pokémon's Tera Type, you will need 50 Tera Shards to do so.
Then take the order, and then it is time to take on the office worker, who is revealed to be Larry, the Gym Leader of Medali, and he uses Normal-type Pokémon, time to go over his team.
Komala: Yawn, Sucker Punch, Slam
Dudunsparce: Hyper Drill, Drill Run, Glare
Staraptor: Facade, Aerial Ace

Larry can be really tough if you are not prepared, which seems to be a trend with Normal-type Gym Leaders being difficult opponents. Komala isn't that challenging, watch out for its Yawn, Dudunsparce is the evolved form of Dunsparce, and Hyper Drill is the move Dunsparce needs to learn in order to evolve. Dudunsparce has very good HP and Attack, at least it has good stats for a Normal-type, and the final Pokémon is Staraptor, which Larry which Terastallize to a Normal-type, Larry is the only Gym Leader in Paldea to Terastallize a Pokémon into one of its original types, as Staraptor is a Normal/Flying-type, it powers up Facade further. If you inflict a status condition, Staraptor can deal huge damage, a defensive Rock or Steel-type are your best options, because its Aerial Ace can really hurt Fighting-type Pokémon.
After beating Larry, he gives the Normal Gym Badge and the TM for Facade, a good move if you are using a Pokémon with Guts for the Ability, like Ursaring or Hariyama.
When you return back to the Gym Lobby, you have another encounter with Geeta, and you get to battle against Nemona, at least you get to be healed, but you don't get to prepare, I don't know if the game progresses if you lose to Nemona, because I remember Pokémon Sun & Moon had some battles where you still progress if you lose certain battles.
Nemona's team has evolved since, in this case, she has Lycanroc and Pawmo, and she has added a Goomy to her team, which is very easy as Goomy is very weak. Her starter has fully evolved, and it is time to go over the final evolutions of the Paldean Starters.
I will start off by going over Quaquaval, the final evolution of Quaxly, and Nemona will have that if you chose Sprigatito. Quaquaval is a Water/Fighting-type Pokémon, its signature move is Aqua Step, this is an 80 Power Physical Water-type move that increases Quaquaval's Speed when it hits, and with a good Attack stat, Quaquaval can get in some Speed increases to sweep its opponents.
If you chose Fuecoco, she has Meowscarada, the final evolution of Sprigatito. Meowscarada is a Grass/Dark-type Pokémon, its signature move is Flower Trick, a 70 Power Physical Grass-type move that never misses and will always get a critical hit, effectively making it a 105 Power move, and Meowscarada has the Attack and Speed to put that to use.
If you chose Quaxly, she will have Skeledirge, that is Fuecoco's final evolved form. Skeledirge is a Fire/Ghost-type, which we did previously have with Hisuian Typhlosion in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and I don't normally like it when they repeat types that were previously done with Starter Pokémon, but anway, Skeledirge's signature move is Torch Song, it is an 80 Power Special Fire-type move that boosts Skeledirge's Special Attack stat when it hits, and with high Special Attack, it can deal huge damage when it keeps it up. While it is on the slow side, Skeledirge does have good defensive stats, and all three of the starters have very solid types and stats to put those to good use.
After that, Geeta gives you the TM for the move Tera Blast, this is an 80 power move that can either be Physical or Special based on the Pokémon's higher Attack stat, and its type will match the Tera Type of the Pokémon when Terastallized, and this can be good on Pokémon that have very limited coverage, like Lilligant for example, which can use a Fire Tera Type and use Tera Blast to give it an option against Steel-type Pokémon.
