Last time on Dragon ball z, we restarted our journey... twice. I was gifted a very nice and familiar choice, where as our co-host wasn't quite so lucky. Despite iffy starter pokemon, we made it through the viridian forest and even managed to defeat brock and earn our first gym badge. Now we must repeat the cycle and hopefully make it to misty this time. This gonna be messy... TONIGHT

Our Soul link rules

Rule 1: Pokémon feints in battle, it is dead (pc/release) [partner must do the same to the pokemon that shared it's encounter]

Rule 2: no items in battle (this excludes pokeballs)(we can use items when out on the field)
[note]- "held items such as; berries, quick claw, etc, do NOT count as items in battle, as the Pokémon, and not the trainer used the item.

Rule 3: We can only catch the first encounter of a new route (split routes and cave floors are a singular area, and are not counted separately)
-Gift Pokémon do not count as encounters, but can be used as party members (same nuzlock rules apply)
-Both players must obtain the encounter and opt to add it to their parties in order for it to be used.

Rule 4: No use of the Pokémon Breeder[if able] (I can use day care for exp, but no eggs)

Rule 5: All caught Pokémon must be nicknamed

Rule 6: Defeat Champion (8 gym badges)

Rule 7: The battle option must be set to "set" and not "shift" this is so the main game functions like an actual fair fight.

Rule 8: Both trainers cannot have the same pokemon in their parties (starter excluded)

Rule 9: Both players must always have equal gym badges
