Upon going to Viridian City, Ash must face his rival once again. Afterwards, it's an annoying trek through one of the worst dungeons of the game, Viridian Forest. Sadly, thanks to Yellow trying to be like the anime, the only thing you can catch is Pidgey and Caterpie. While that is not a bad thing, the fact that the Trainers that are in the way ONLY carry those Pokemon.
