This was another long session streamed over the holidays during 2023. The game is PokeWilds, a fan-made Pokemon open world sandbox that includes crafting, real-time day-night cycles that persist through battles, procedurally generated map exploration, and an emphasis placed on Mons found in the early generation games of the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed the playthrough, and would sincerely recommend the game as a “must play” to fans of the original games - it’s an experience that delivers on nostalgic elements of the original while adding an entirely new layer of mystery that makes it feel completely fresh.
