Polaris Hub AB: Copyright Abuser
41So we all know copyright abuse is rampant on YouTube, especially given the recent adventures of The Man Who Acts and The Tickled Man.
This video is about another copyright abuser, albeit on a much smaller scale than the aforementioned parties above.
Polaris Hub AB, Muserk Rights Management are going around claiming videos that contain the very recognisable music of the Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog.
It doesn't seem to matter which version or rendition of GHZ it is, it seems to get claimed regardless. You can dispute, but they either can't be bothered to review the dispute and let your video sit for 30 days before the claim expires, or they seem to wait till day 29 and then reject the dispute, meaning any revenue on the video goes to them.
They OBVIOUSLY don't own the rights to ANY Sonic the Hedgehog music. If that was the case, videos would be getting claimed left, right and centre, and it wouldn't just be Green Hill Zone.
YouTube needs to look into this "company" that's claiming ownership on a piece of music that isn't theirs. That's copyright fraud.
