This is my play-through of Police Quest 4: Open Season (1993)!

In this video, LAPD Detective Carey leaves the Morgue and heads over to the Police Academy range, for practice. He then travels to South Central and discovers a rope in a cardboard box, and takes it. Carey then travels over to the Impound Lot but SID is currently examining the vehicle that the two bodies were discovered within. He then travels to Ragin Records, makes further inquiries, and then travels to the 3rd Eye Theater. Here, he makes contact with Mitchell Thurman, who manages the theater. Carey investigates the theater and interviews Mitchell about Officer Garcia, any run ins with police, and if Garcia was ever a customer at the theater that week.

Carey goes to Parker Center and speaks with SID Julie Chester, regarding findings on the bodies, the found bone from Griffith Park, and the abandoned vehicle found in Hollywood and Vine. Carey goes up to the Third Floor and speaks with Lt. Block, regarding whether or not the Serial Killer is a woman. Carey then goes to the Impound Lot, examines the abandoned Ford Tempo, notates the license plate, and returns to Parker Center to run the plate. He discovers that it is registered to Los Angeles County Central District Health Center.

Carey travels to the Health Center and makes contact with the receptionist, Nora Bitteridge, who informs him of an employee who has been missing. Carey learns that the employee, Luella Parker, is a case worker for the County of Los Angeles. Carey examines Luella's office and discovers two case files, and a Yo Money cassette tape. The case files regard two clients, Barbie Cann, and Mitchell Thurman. Carey collects the tape and files, and then heads over to Hollywood and Vine. He enters the Bitty Kitty, where he makes contact with Barbie Cann. Carey asks Barbie about Luella Parker, and then advises her that Luella was discovered murdered. Carey then goes to Ragin Records and trades in the tape for a drumstick.

Carey travels to the 3rd Eye Theater and makes contact with Mitchell Thurman, and inquires about Luella Parker. Carey advises Mitchell that Luella was found murdered, and that he was investigating it. Mitchell advises that he has a dog and that his neighbor(s) complained about him not taking care of his dog. Mitchell then offers tea, on the house, which Carey drinks. Mitchell offers Carey a show, on the house as well, to which Carey watches and then falls asleep. Apparently Carey was drugged by the tea and is awakened by Mitchell. Carey locates Mitchell's supposed dog, once again at Griffith Park, and throws a rope on the dog. During this time, the dog leads Carey to an alleyway, which ends up being between the 3rd Eye Theater and a neighboring business. From here, Carey enters the unknown, tracks down the Serial Killer, and the rest would be spoiled if I tell you here! Haha! Watch and find out, or play the game!
