This is my play-through of Police Quest 4: Open Season (1993)!
In this video, LAPD Detective Carey is ordered to appear at City Hall, to answer questions that the council and people have, regarding the murders. During the interview, Carey is attacked by Dennis Walker, with a club/stick. Carey successfully arrests Dennis for Attempted Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer.
Carey speaks with SID Officer Julie Chester, regarding findings, and then Property Officer Teddy Baker. Carey then travels to the Police Academy range, to qualify with his firearm.
Carey takes a break at the Short Stop Bar, explores and plays a couple of video games, before heading back out to work. He then travels to Hollywood and Vine, and makes contact with the locals there. Carey learned more about Officer Rene Garcia and a supposed "girlfriend", who was seen driving his patrol car. He also speaks with the employee at Ragin Records, before heading to the Hollenbeck Impound Lot. While there, Carey examines the patrol car and discovers a piece of torn newspaper. The paper became a lead, advertising the Bitty Kitty strip club, and the 3rd Eye Theater.
Carey returns to Hollywood and Vine, to speak with the locals once again. He then enters the Bitty Kitty and speaks with Electra. After Carey leaves, he discovers that his driver's side view mirror, had been broken off of his vehicle. He asks the employee at Ragin Records, if he saw the incident occur, regarding the damage to his vehicle. Then returns to the Bitty Kitty and makes contact with Barbie Cann.
Carey then investigates the 3rd Eye Theater, even though the business is closed, and then travels to the Morgue. Carey asks Sam about Jane Doe 1201-K, a dog discovered at Griffith Park, and an update on findings for Officer Garcia. Carey then travels over to Griffith Park and finds the alleged dog, guarding a tree, with police banner tape. Carey is able to make the dog leave and then investigates the area where the body was discovered. In doing so, Carey discovers a human arm bone and collects it as evidence.
Carey goes to Parker Center, speaks with Chester, regarding the found bone, and then attempts to take it to property. Carey finds that Property is closed and then heads to the Morgue, and turns the bone over to Sam, for analysis. Carey learns that two more bodies were discovered over in Hollywood and Vine. Inquiries are made regarding John Doe 7216-M and Jane Doe 1202-L.
Carey goes back to Hollywood and Vine and asks the Ragin Records employee about the abandoned car, that the two bodies were discovered within. After further exploring around the city, he returns to the Bitty Kitty and speaks with Barbie Cann, once more. He then returns to the Morgue, where Kristy Bilden is interviewing Sherry Moore, and takes Sherry to her home. The next morning, Carey meets with Sam and Sherry at the Morgue, and advises her to not speak with the Press. Carey then asks about findings regarding the bone and the autopsies on the latest two bodies.
