Polybius is an urban legend in gaming - the mysterious arcade cabinet first appeared in 1981 in Portland, Oregon and vanished as quickly as it appeared. Rumors of headaches, nausea and amnesia were reported by people who played it. To this day no one knows if the Polybius arcade cabinet is real - but a lot of evidence suggests that it is a hoax by someone promoting their blog in 2000.
