If you had told me at this time last year that Fortnite would be my most played game of 2023 I'd have laughed at you.

But after being talked into it by one child and hooking another child into it, my kids and I have regularly ran around together in the Zero Build mode.

But a week or so back the newest season started and with it came a trio of new modes.

Here we have the LEGO survival mode which plays a lot like games in the style of Valheim, Minecraft, Stranded Deep, etc. Meaning you start with almost nothing, you gather resources to build yourself shelter and weapons and you continue gathering and building until you've built a nice home for yourself with lots of things to do and in this case villagers to work with.

But all in LEGO form.
