Sometimes I find that I just need a good palate cleansing game.

After spending 40, 50, 80 hours on a game or with a game that has a deep and involving story I often will hunt down a game that has a short runtime or is fairly cheap to sort of reset my mind before jumping into the next big huge time consuming game.

Sayonara Wild Hearts came out a few weeks back and is exactly the sort of game I love to play between bigger games.

While it has a loose framework of a story the game is really all about arcade style, high score driven gameplay.

It has a fantastic look and aesthetic and most of the music works really clicks with the visuals.

It all comes together to create a weird yet fast and fun experience and I'm quite happy with it.
