Australian singer Kylie Minogue has secured a one-off live special at London's Royal Albert Hall following the success of her Padam Padam pop song and guest show in Las Vegas. The Huffington Post in Britain reported on Wednesday that ITV will be showing the special An Audience With… featuring Minogue on 1 December. Minogue previously hosted her own An Audience With during the original broadcast of the show in 2001. She performed with Kermit the Frog and sang Especially For You. It will also follow in footsteps of Adele, who performed An Audience With in 2021 after the UK broadcaster revived classic format for a special event. December's show will feature Minogue answering celebrity questions in the audience, as well as performing songs from her extensive catalog of work spanning four decades. ITV said special would take the series to "next level". "I can't wait to share this moment with all of you," Minogue said in a statement. "I'll be performing some of my favorite tracks throughout my career and will undoubtedly answer some surprising questions from the audience." Minogue has ridden a wave of success this year;His latest single, Padam Padam has placed it in Britain's top 10 hits in over a decade. The UK Radio Times says An Audience With... was launched in 1978 with six programs directed by comedian Jasper Carrott. Since then, many big names such as Victoria Wood, Shirley Bassey, Sir Cliff Richard and Take That have taken to the stage for one-off performances. The 55-year-old Minogue has come a long way since her Neighbors and Locomotion pop song days, having toured 15 concerts since 1989 and sold more than 80 million albums in four decades. She is one of Australia's most valuable musical exports of the modern era. She has had eight UK #1 albums, won three BRIT awards, two MTV awards and a Grammy, and is the only female artist in the UK to have a #1 album for fifty consecutive years. His Las Vegas residence opens in November at the newly curated Voltaire Club inside The Venetian Resort. Minogue will perform there to just 1,000 audiences. Celine Dion, Adele, Britney Spears, Elton John Lady Gaga have enjoyed extended stays and earned millions of dollars in Vegas salaries, including merchandise perks. At a recent press conference in Los Angeles, Minogue said she had "earned the right to be there", the BBC reported. “I have some versions that have never been heard before, like reinterpretations of songs, which are exciting. Live bed dancing, great costumes,” she said. “Years ago was thinking I want to do this when I'm young, like don't want to do it when my career is at sunset. So I think I'm somewhere in the middle where I feel entitled to have the experience of really enjoying being there.
