Portal 2 Part 13: Initiating Launch Pads
0So, we continue heading to find the elevator to the upper levels to deal with Wheatley and, along the way, we find yet another gel type. We have already seen the blue (repulsion Gel) and the White (which I don't think they gave us a name for so....) gels and now, we are introduced to the speed gel or, as I will no doubt call it, the orange paint/Orange Gel. The gel does exactly what you might think it would (unless you thought that it was the drug speed, then your just wrong); it increases our movement speed at some pretty high levels. Running through a portal would give us enough momentum to reach some fairly high places (to hit buttons that is; not really something to help you get to higher platforms unless there is some sort of ramp). I do like that they have added these different gels and that you can combine them within puzzles (by that, I mean use multiple colors to solve a problem; if mixed, the most recent color just covers the older one so you can't stack them) since it makes you think about the puzzle and what is the best way to solve it with the options you had.
