We have been tossed all the way to the bottom of the giant cavern which houses the laboratories of Aperture Science. We will be going on a journey through the history of the facility, accompanied by the brilliantly narrated voice of Cave Johnson, the founder of the facility. Having JK Simmons providing his vocal talent for this game was a real treat. Time for some history...
Chell, our protagonist from the 1st game wakes up once again in the enrichment center. It may begin the same way as the 1st game, but things are very much different this time around... A LOT of time has passed since Chell's escape, and without the powerful AI GLaDOS to run the facility, it has become derelict and overrun by nature.
Upon waking up, we are greeted by the sound of a new voice, a more human, friendly voice than the one we became used to in the 1st game. It seems intent on helping us escape once again, but before longs things get out of control and it's up to Chell and her new companion to break out of the Enrichment Center once again.
This game is a much more ambitious, expanded sequel to the more experimental Portal 1. Award-winning Hollywood talent like J.K Simmons and the much-loved British Writer/Comedian Stephen Merchant lend their vocal talents and the visual/storytelling elements are cranked up to provide a much more complete experience. This is one game you must experience at least once in your life.
