Attending NewConPDX 2016 (Jan 15-17) was a great experience. This was my first convention outside of WA State AND my first convention attendance as press.

NewConPDX is unlike any convention I've attended before. Most conventions focus on video games or anime or sci-fi, but NewConPDX celebrates all fandom (anime, video games, cosplay, sci-fi, manga, etc)! The visionaries behind NewConPDX explained that they wanted to create a place where every kind of fan could meet, and they wanted a convention near the new year where there wasn't a regional convention at the time.

As press, I did have the opportunity to interview Voice Acting Guests of Honor, Troy Baker and Steve Blum (I've include the links below). I also had the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with chair and co-creator of NewConPDX, Michael Anderson (link also included below). The breadth and depth of the interviews was beyond my expectations and I highly encourage you check them out!
