Game description:

Potholer! is an educational text adventure for children.

You are at the entrance to some underground caves and passages. Two of your friends have gone to explore the caves. They are long overdue.
You decide to try to find them.
They have hardly any food, so you must try to reach them as quickly as possible. But, be careful! Potholing is very dangerous!
Make sure you keep a record of your route as you go along.
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT:-
1. A rucksack containing food, spare batteries, spare clothes and a first aid kit.
2. A knife with many blades, etc.
3. An electric lamp.
4. A 20m rope.
5. A life jacket.
6. A small spade.
