power director 16 not working with nvidia GPU

basically I can only use the integrated intel hd 630 GPU on the laptop and not the nvidia 1050ti :-( I have tried everything I thoght might work, plus suggestions on the forum from users. So far the only one that works is to roll back the nvidia drivers to a very old driver update... Like others I refuse to buy a product and go through so much just to get it working, and on old drivers that only work sometimes with it..
