For those who don't know, Power Stone was a full 3D fighting game exclusive to the SEGA Dreamcast, and to be honest one of my favorites. The sequel, Power Stone 2, removed much of the finer and skillful mechanics of the first game and made it into more of a party game, what with an entire book of items to use, more characters, and the introduction of moving stages.

It's hard to appreciate as a fighting game, but imo it's a top notch party game. That being said the 1 player adventure mode can be tough at the highest level (8), what with the game's cheap A.I. and damage outputs there.
-----------------------

I used to have a lot of trouble with Rouge until I realized the usefulness of her power drive Sight of Hellfire (and its aerial version). While powered up, that's really her best offense, as you can get more damage out of using that and 1 fusion compared to spending the whole bar on 2 fusions. There's a reason the A.I. loves to spam it against human controlled characters.

Speaking of Fusions, both of hers are very useful, but share the same weaknesses that make them basically equal. Fiery Trap covers a large range and is a guranteed hit, thought Summon Giant allows movement and does slightly more damage.

As for her without Power stones, her main downfall is her pathetic defense. Add that to the fact that she spends a lot of time in the air and it takes some adjustment to avoid getting annihilated. Luckily she has very broken range on some of her moves and her jumping kick has the hitbox from hell, so she's not defenseless when it comes to fisticuffs.

For some reason I remember this being really difficult in the past, which is why I hesitated in picking her and trying it. Even if she does make this look easy, I sure do miss her carpet from the first game. I'm still scratching my head as to why I rarely choose her in this game...AND why she and Falcon aren't in MvC3 *grumblegrumble*

PS: Contrary to what the video quality shows, my TV was a dark as hell (it's on its last legs) so any randomness/spazzing out isn't intended.
