Praey for the Gods - Part 2/8 - PC (Steam) ~ Boss 2: Devourer (+ Champion)

Praey for the Gods is not strictly a boss-only game, but I'm still including it in the boss-only playlist, because the enemies encountered are really minimal. I'm also mostly only showcasing the boss fights in this "playthrough", which is unusual, but that's because the entire world takes place in snowy fields and mountains where nothing much is happening. Unlike Shadow of the Colossus, for example, the environment is the same for the entire game. There's no variety here in the landscapes. It's either caves or snow mountains/fields. I also thought it would be boring to watch me hunt for materials to upgrade my gear, so yeah, I'm only showing the bosses.
This game is -obviously- highly influenced by Shadow of the Colossus, perhaps paying it homage, as the giant monsters you fight look very similar to that game's colossi. You also have to climb onto them to hit various points to bring them down. The game is generally well-made, and I enjoyed my time with it, but it's definitely lacking in both the music and landscape variety departments. The final boss was a pain in the buttocks. Praey for the Gods had been in my wishlist for many years -- I'm glad I finally got to play it.
