Precursors is a 4 volume remix project that reimagines the soundtrack to the legendary sci-fi RPG Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters. The project was organized by Riku Nuottajärvi, one of the original composers on the game, Jouni Airaksinen, Tore Aune Fjellstad and Espen Gätzschmann with the blessing from the game's developers.

All the music from the Precursors project can be found at it's homepage here https://www.medievalfuture.com/precursors/main.php, along with files that can be used to replace the soundtrack in the original release of the game and it's FOSS source port mentioned later.
