'Prelude in D' on one of the rarest Pipe Organs in the World - Paul Fey
381Some weeks ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at Neresheim Abbey in Neresheim, Germany. This Holzhay organ is one of the last of its kind and is located in a huge abbey church with more than 7 seconds of reverb! That's very rare, even around here. This organ uses the Kirnberger III temperament and consists of about 3.500 pipes and was an absolute joy to play!
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the 'Prelude in D Minor' / "La Rejouissance" by Georg Friedrich Handel - one of the most famous pieces from the "The Royal Fireworks" collection. It is played by Paul Fey, recorded on the pipe organ at Neresheim Abbey in Neresheim.
