PREPAR3D | Roveniemi Low Visibility Landing Under FULL VATSIM ATC !!
Hey folks! Welcome to another FLYING ADVENTURE video in P3D! This time, it's something a bit different and I hope it could be very educational for any new Simulator Pilots wanting to find out what it is like flying online with VATSIM under FULL Air Traffic Control. So if you are a New Pilot or someone thinking about flying online for the first time, this video will give you a flavour of what it's like! This evening, my friend Neil and I fly up above the Arctic Circle, to Santa's Home Base - Roveniemi Airport in Lapland (EFRO). I'm in the VAP AIR Boeing 747-400 and Neil is ahead of me in the Finnair Airbus A330. The video begins with a short Intro from me to set the scene - then we open at 37,000 feet over southern Sweden and listen to a LOT of radio transmissions between Sweden Control and the pilots around us. You will hear enroute instructions, landing and departing clearances, as well as weather information being given to Pilots by the Controller and Neil and I are actually in a long line of flights, all heading for EFRO! You will get to hear a lot of what it takes to fly through an ATC regulated area! The second half of the video shows us in the descent and the final landing into Roveniemi, with Helsinki Radar Control bringing us in. The weather is cold, it's snowing and there is low visibility with a late visual of the runway to present a challenge to me! So join us on this live, as it happened, video and I hope you will learn a lot of what VATSIM ATC is like! My thanks to the great Controllers over Sweden and Finland, to Neil as always and to you the viewer for watching. Music in part is licenced to me by FESLIYAN STUDIOS and EPIDEMIC SOUND. ©VirtualAirlinePilot. Thank you very much for watching. Enjoy!
