Preparedness Thoughts | Conflicted
3How's it going everyone! Today we're gonna do some thought exercises by playing the Conflicted card game. What is the Conflicted card game? Well it's a deck of cards where every single card has its own unique scenario that it's going to hypothetically put you through. The objective of the game is to give a response to the scenario that makes sense to your peers, and in fact the person with the best response is awarded that specific card. The game requires at least 3 people to play, and in this case we had 4. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins!
This game is super simple but really helps promote some good brainstorming to help you keep an open mind for what can happen once SHTF. There are several different decks that you can purchase as well, ranging from Survival Scenarios like what we played, all the way to Financial Collapse and so on. Tons of choices and scenarios to try!
Today's episode featured a good diverse group of people from different backgrounds and with different relationships to make it interesting. We had the familial role filled by my brother, Zeke, the romantic role filled by my girlfriend, Adrianna, the friendship role filled by my best friend Dante, and of course the Alpha Male role filled by me 😎. It's interesting to see how these different positions more or less influenced the answers and responses that each of us gave.
