🏢 Government Power | Opposition governors met at the official residence of the Governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), this Thursday (August 7, 2025). The official agenda of the meeting was the tariff hike imposed by US President Donald Trump (Republican Party) on Brazilian products.
At the end of the meeting, Governors Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans-SP), Mauro Mendes (União-MT), and Ronaldo Caiado (União-GO) gave statements to the press regarding the meeting. Also participating in the meeting were Jorginho de Mello (PL-SC), Claudio Castro (PL-RJ), Romeu Zema (Novo-MG), Ratinho Jr. (PSD-PR), and Wilson Lima (União-AM).
