👥 Poder Gente | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's (Workers' Party) eldest granddaughter, Bia Lula, posted a video on social media on Saturday (August 2, 2025) criticizing former President Jair Bolsonaro (Political Party) and claiming he "put himself" in his current legal predicament. According to her, the use of an electronic ankle bracelet "was not persecution, it was a direct consequence of his own actions."
She says Bolsonaro attempted a coup in 2022, which, according to her, led to his indictment by the Federal Police, his being charged before the Supreme Federal Court, and the use of the ankle bracelet. Bia also criticized Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (Political Party-SP), whom she attributed for acting "against Brazil to please Trump and save his political dynasty." For her, "those who act against the institutions reap the consequences," and the country "deserves responsible leadership."
