Since the 3dsmax 2013 Subscription Extension the mParticles have been integrated into the software. The Particle Flow Toolbox#2 created by Oleg Bayborodin of Orbaz Technologies was integrated and introduces MassFX/nVidia Phyx to Particle Flow. With this tool extension, accurate shape collision and bindings are now possible. Besides a fast collision solver effects like metal embedding and tearing can be achieved with little extra knowledge if you are already familiar with Particle Flow. Along with extended particle flow operator's mParticles come with two new Modifiers to create geometry faces on particle impact and a modifier to link geometry to particle motion which makes for great metal bending effects.
