Prey 2017 Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary Let´s Play
Prey is a first-person shooter set in an open universe with role-playing and stealth features. The player assumes the character of Morgan Yu, a human on a space station inhabited by a swarm of hostile aliens known as the Typhon. The player can choose some qualities of Morgan, such as gender, and the user's selections effect portions of the game's plot. To live, the player must gather and employ weaponry and resources aboard the station in order to repel and fight the Typhon. According to Raphael Colantonio, the station is totally continuous rather than having different stages or quests, requiring the player to return to previously visited sections at times. The player can explore space outside of the station and uncover routes linking different portions of the station. According to Colantonio, the aliens have a variety of various abilities that the player character can develop through time; for example, one extraterrestrial has the capacity to form shift into ordinary objects such as a chair. The player can learn the skills of aliens by utilizing a gadget known as a psychoscope. Almost any thing may be broken down into basic materials with a recycler.
According to main creator Ricardo Bare, the game contains various endings; the endings fall into three basic narrative frameworks based on how the player interacts with the station and surviving humanity in general, although there are "tons of little permutations" based on individual occurrences.
Mooncrash enlargement
The Mooncrash addition, which was launched in June 2018, is a distinct game mode built on top of the basic Prey game's scenario and gameplay. While the stages in the expansion stay the same, the location of adversaries, weapons, and other stuff is randomized on each playthrough.
Narratively, the player assumes the position of Peter, a hacker onboard a satellite orbiting the Moon who is obliged to investigate what happened at the Pytheas Moonbase by his employer, the Kasma Corporation. Peter does this by performing simulations in which he assumes the role of one of the five known survivors of the attack. As Peter, the player must find out how each of the five survived through the five different escape routes. This is demonstrated by having one player guide another through the station, battling off the Typhon, acquiring equipment, hacking terminals, and doing other operations. If the player can guide that character to safety, they must then guide the other characters, one at a time, across the same gameworld to reach a separate escape point, with all of the previous characters' alterations remaining in place. Players can reset the simulation, causing the world elements to be randomly generated and basically starting a fresh run. The player, on the other hand, gains credits that they can use within the simulation to improve how any of the characters begin, such as with better weapons or additional health packs, and they can permanently unlock skills for each character within future simulation runs by collecting certain objects within the gameworld.
Typhon Hunter enlargement
There are two game types in the Typhon Hunter expansion. One is a single-person virtual reality experience that pits the player against several escape room challenges onboard the Talos I space station. The second mode is an asymmetrical multiplayer variant that may accommodate up to six players. One player takes on the role of Morgan, while the others are Mimic Typhons, which can disguise themselves as almost any object in the game's environment. The Morgan player is tasked to discover and kill all the other players in a limited period of time, while the Mimic players can move things in rooms, disguise themselves, then spring out and attack the Morgan player when they are close before choosing another hiding spot.
