Here's an easy way to duplicate Materials in Prey (2017). Early on in the game you will find recycling machines where you can turn unwanted items into materials that you use for crafting.
This duplication exploit only works on materials. So weapons, food or other items won't work.
HOW TO DUPLICATE IN PREY:
Put the material (best in a stack of 10) that you want to duplicate into the recycle machine and split them up inside the machine. So if you put a stack of 10 in there, split them so each slot is filled with 1 of the material.
You can check your duplication gain on the monitor in the middle before you start recycling. That's it, start the machine and collect your duplicated materials on the right.
